Whats been said?
We are honoured to receive compliments on our training - a couple of them are here.
We are also more than happy to put you in touch with schools/provisions that we have worked with, if you wish to check us out further.
I really enjoyed the half day refresher course. The information and practical elements were well balanced and there was opportunity to work through specific issues related to our school.
The content was not patronising and the presenters were engaging, with real experience of the techniques and strategies they shared.
Anna Assistant Head
The training that my team attended was excellent.
They really enjoyed it and felt that it benefitted them greatly.
Rob Head of School
LeAFE training provided an opportunity to have a clear insight into the legislation and law around safer handling. Specific examples of de-escalation strategies were shared with the focus being that this is the priority and is key to supporting with ‘interesting’ behaviours.
Opportunities to ask questions, share ideas were given throughout. Specific holds were clearly demonstrated with practice time incorporated with guidance support.
This is the only safer handling training I have received where the emphasis is on de-escalation strategies as a priority whilst teaching manageable key holds to use as a last resort.

Meic and Neil were absolutely fantastic at providing all the necessary training for us on our LeAFE session recently. They delivered the legal, theory-based and practical elements extremely clearly and stippled it with real life examples and strategies which the team found extremely helpful.
The whole session was focused around clear research and, importantly, was based on their own personal day-to-day experience and expertise in supporting children during their most vulnerable times. As a result, we had well trained staff returning to school feeling empowered to support children in making positive behaviour choices when things in life become a little more complex for them.
The theory based elements were supplemented with time to discuss particular aspects in more depth. This bespoke nature of the training gave the staff further confidence in how to approach their thinking about the child with the clear aim of minimising, and possibly preventing, behavioural incidents from occurring in the first place – an approach which completely supports our school philosophy.
Thank you very much Meic and Neil- the lovely refreshments were very welcomed too ;)

The LeAFE training was both engaging and impactful. Meic and Neal created a safe and supportive atmosphere in which we were able to establish our core values and principles in terms of behaviour management. It was useful to spend time reflecting on incidents from different perspectives, including that of pupils and their parents. The training has had an immediate impact on myself and my colleagues, equipping us to deal confidently with ‘interesting’ behaviours using a range of strategies including distraction, de-escalation, and also physical intervention when absolutely necessary.

I just wanted to inform you both about the positive feedback from all staff today, regarding the training. We all found it informative and practical, whilst you're both very engaging in the way you deliver the information... So, thanks for that and I look forward to the refresher next year!
